Miss Jack is back! In this class students will dive deeper into dance! We will be learning more routines to classic 90’s pop! Students can expect a high energy environment, performing for classmates, and incorporating new styles of dance into their repertoire. Not only will the students be able to have fun, but they will learn more styles of dance including jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and pop! Can’t wait to see you all in class!

Students will make jewelry, bags, jewelry holders, and other accessories using a variety of materials including clay, beads, paint, and UV resin. Among the items created are bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and more. Hone your fine motor and design skills as you create intricate works that you can give as gifts or keep for yourself.

About This Class: Students are introduced to chess in a fun and exciting way! For all students and all levels, we teach students to play chess and help them succeed in school by stimulating their problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Learn strategies, defenses, and winning moves and participate in a class tournament towards the end of the session to compete for trophies and other chess prizes!

About This Class: Students learn the game of golf through easy-to-understand concepts & interactive games that are fun and engaging. Using skill-based drills that can be done anywhere (indoors or outdoors, at school, or on the golf course), students develop the fundamentals, explore academic concepts through game play, and practice life skills — such as sportsmanship and respect. Students will be hitting NERF golf balls in lieu of standard golf balls for safety purposes.

About This Class: This course is a great way for kids to get some exercise with friends after school on Wednesdays! In this 9-week course, you will learn the complete fundamentals of multiple sports which include: dribbling, shooting, technique, terminology, and friendly scrimmages. Each of the following sports will be spilt amongst the 9 sessions: Basketball, Soccer, Baseball (Whiffleball), and flag football. Class format: 30 minutes of instruction/drills + 30 minutes of open play where you will have the opportunity to practice what you learned in class. Emphasis is on fun and participation! Calling all Eggheads to the lab with the SCIENCE SYMBOL! Eggheads become science superheroes this session as they bend their vision, learn super smelling, crazy illusions, ultrasonic hearing and tons more! Each week Eggheads will learn the science behind super strength and all the other things our superheroes need and they can take home their experiments to help them be super themselves! At the end of the session every Egghead will become an official Science Superhero with a degree to prove it!

About This Class: Pickleball is here! In this 9-week course, students will learn how to keep score, basic shot-making techniques, and proper court positioning necessary to start playing pickleball! Class format: 30 minutes of instruction/drills + 30 minutes of open play where students will have the opportunity to practice what they learned in class. Learn the rules of the game and increase your skills while having a great time playing this fun, social and fast paced sport! Pickleball equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring your own paddle if you have one!

Yoga mats provided. This class was a big hit with the kiddos at Woodland last semester, Uta makes it fun and engaging and so we decided to bring her to Kaiser too!

Join the Egghead Amusement Park Engineering Team! Each class Eggheads will try to pass a new LEGO engineering challenge by designing, building and testing crazy rides and attractions. Using a wide variety of LEGO bricks and speciality pieces we will build HUGE spinning Merry Go Rounds, Mega Ferris Wheels, Water Slides, Drop Towers and more as students work to build a giant functioning Amusement Park. Eggheads will test their designs like a true engineering team by spinning, sliding and breaking down their builds. Designed for 5-6th graders this class will be challenging, engaging and fun.
