These are just a few of the PFO activities and programs for the 2017-2018 school year:
Movie Night – Our first event this year…. grab a chair and bring the family for a night of fun.
Class Ice Cream Party – All classes with 100% PFO Membership will participate in the PFO Ice Cream Party
Skate Night – Skate Nights are held once a month at Fountain Valley Skating Center. Each night has a fun theme. The grade level with the highest attendance at Skate Night wins a treat.
Monday Coffee at Woodland – Have a case of the Mondays? Join us for a cup of Starbucks for $1.00 in front of Woodland Elementary on select Mondays.
Recess Art – Art activities are held once a month at both Kaiser and Woodland schools. This is held during lunch time for all students.
After School Enrichment Program – The PFO provides after-school programming from various vendors in our area. Classes range from Computer Coding & Movie Making to Art & Clay and Spanish.
Art Masters – Students receive a lecture and create art based on a famous artist.
Family Photo Night- Join us for an updated professional family portrait. This is held in November.
Healthy Choices Week – Woodland Elementary celebrates a week of focus on a healthy lifestyle.
Red Ribbon Week – A nationwide effort to educate students about drug abuse and bullying awareness. This takes place at Kaiser Elementary.
Book Fair – The book fair helps us support our library at Kaiser and Woodland Schools. The book fair allows students to buy quality books.
Dine and Dance – This is an evening for parents to get out, socialize and spend a fun evening with the Kaiser and Woodland Community.
Jog-a-Thon – One of our biggest fundraiser of the year. Our Jog-a-thon shirts are a fun way for sponsors to support the school.
Kaiser Play – All students in grades 1-6 are taken to a performance of the Kaiser Play. There are also 2 public performances. This event is not to be missed!
Knights and Dragons Carnival – One of the best events of the year! Our Carnival includes rides, games, food and auction items.
All of these activities require volunteers to help coordinate. We would love your support at PFO meetings to help us plan our children’s future. Whether you have a spare minute, hour, or several hours, we appreciate your support and participation.
Thank you in advance for your help.
